KOSOVO
Uran Agic, an interpreter contracted by the US government to translate the Serbian language, hands out comic books on mine awareness to Serbian children in Kosovo.  Mr. Agic is in Kosovo with 315th Tactical Psychological Operations (PYSOP) Company out of Upland, California, who are distributing Humanitarian Aid (HA) items.  The HA items were donated by families back in the United States and consisted of clothing, school supplies and toys.

OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM
At Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan, Jan. 14, 2004, Sgt. Thomas Stanley from Sacramento, Calif., a member with the 304th Psychological Operations Company, attaches a static line that will initiate the distribution of leaflets when the box it is attached to is pushed from an aircraft over an area near the border of Afghanistan and Pakistan. The leaflets are designed to encourage villagers in the area to support the Coalition led reconstruction efforts in Afghanistan and to turn in terrorists operating in the region to authorities.

OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM
Airman 1st Class David Cardenas positions a box of leaflets to be dropped over Afghanistan May 21 [2007] in Southwest Asia. Airman Cardenas dropped more than 80,000 leaflets over Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Airman Cardenas is assigned to the 746th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron.
One side of the 6-by-4 inch leaflets urged the Taliban to give up by stating, "The ANSF (Afghan National Security Forces) and ISAF (International Security Assistance Force) are ridding Helmand of the foreign Taliban." Helmand is a province in Afghanistan where Taliban insurgents are said to be located.
On the other side, it reads, "The Taliban are commanded by foreigners who seek to destroy Afghanistan. There is no honor in fighting alongside the enemies of Afghanistan."

OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM
Airman 1st Class Josh Huffman, a C-130 Hercules loadmaster, drops a box of 10,000 warning leaflets over the southeastern mountains of Afghanistan March 6, 2007.  The leaflets were used to communicate with Taliban extremists, warning them not to interfere with coalition activities.  The leaflet airdrop mission is contributing to Operation Achilles, launched by the International Security Assistance Force to create an environment that will enable the government of Afghanistan to help improve security and the quality of life for Afghan people.

OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM
At sea aboard USS Constellation (CV 64) Dec. 30, 2002 --
Cryptologic Technician 1st Class Steve Reed from Westbury, N.Y., loads leaflets into canisters that will be loaded on coalition aircraft and dropped over Iraq. This is the first time ever that leaflets have been printed on a U.S. Navy ship and then used operationally. U.S. planes patrolling the no-fly zones have begun dropping leaflets encouraging Iraqis to listen for news broadcasts on special radio channels. The leaflets also mention not to shoot at coalition aircraft. Constellation is on a regularly scheduled six-month deployment conducting combat missions in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
